Seamstress

Major Objective - Make puppy jackets for the dogs in training to wear while in public to distinguish them from pets or guide dogs.

Responsibilities
Follow established patterns to make puppy jackets for dogs in training.

Qualifications
Must be able sew, follow patterns, and produce jackets in a timely manner.

Training
1. Attend volunteer orientation.
2. Complete media release.

Time and Place
Demand for jackets will vary. Jackets will be made in own home.

Commitment
Produce 10 to 12 jackets per year.

Supervision
Direct supervision by the Puppy Raiser Manager and indirect supervision by the Volunteer Coordinator.
