Fund Raising

ABOUT FUNDRAISING

At Guide Dogs of Texas, Inc., we aim to give independence to Texans who are visually impaired by providing them with high quality guide dogs. The cost of the guide dog to our clients is only $1. Guide Dogs of Texas, Inc. covers all other costs up to graduation plus the provision of aftercare and support services for the rest of the dog’s life.

It is your donations to Guide Dogs of Texas, Inc. that enables us to cover these costs and give clients the independence they desire.

Fundraising can be hard work yet very rewarding. Aiming at a target often makes fundraising more meaningful. You can choose a suitable target from the list in this brochure or give any amount you would like to donate.

The higher targets, for which we offer a token of thanks, are described in more detail within. These higher targets often provide a great goal for a group fundraising project. If your civic group, church, school, or company would like help and advice with fundraising events or projects, please contact us at Guide Dogs of Texas, Inc..

Please remember that these figures are not the actual costs – they are simply targets for fundraising.
