There are several ways individuals and businesses can support
Guide Dogs of Texas, Inc.. The types of support follow with brief
descriptions.
An individual may add Guide Dogs of Texas, Inc. to
their will. Bequests may be liquid assets, real property or a percent
of their estate. These gifts can be unrestricted or be designated for
a specific purpose such as dog training, the Building Fund, an
operating endowment for the new headquarters, etc. Please see your
attorney to make arrangements.

INDIVIDUAL, CORPORATE GIFTS
AND GRANTS
Individuals, businesses and foundations may
provide us financial support with gifts in the following annual giving
levels:

An individual or corporation/business can
make a monetary gift to GDTx and honor someone special (2 or 4
legged), for a birthday, wedding anniversary or seasonal gift by
designating the gift “in memory of” or “in honor of” an individual.
The Honoree will receive notification of the gift and the reason for
the remembrance. If the gift is in memory of, a letter will be sent
to the family of the deceased individual being remembered.

PAYROLL DEDUCTION
Corporations with payroll deduction programs,
designed to support Non-profit organizations, can support Guide Dogs of Texas, Inc. through a corporate payroll deduction plan.

DOG SPONSORSHIP 
-
$1,000 helps
defray the costs of training for a pup in the Puppy Raiser program.
-
$2,500 supports a
guide dog in training (helping to defray the total cost of
approximately $35,000)
-
$5,000 supports a
puppy through out the puppy raiser program. You receive the right to
name a puppy for this level of donation.

$15,000 covers the
veterinary costs for all dogs in training for one year.
Sponsorship Information:

Sponsoring
levels are contributions toward the total costs of raising/training
a dog through that particular stage of training.

A Sponsor’s
names for a dog can be given at the $5,000 level, when a dog becomes
available. We ask a sponsor to give us three choices for a name.
